Choosing your Tile
Confirm the slip rating against the application. Floors and showers have different requirements, and finish affects the rating. This is a specification decision, not an aesthetic one.
Plan the layout around the format. Large-format tile changes how a room reads, with fewer grout lines and a more continuous surface. It also demands a flatter substrate than standard tile, since large formats are unforgiving of subfloor deviation.
Match tile and slab if you are using both. If a project uses Neolith slab on the countertop and Neolith tile on the floor or backsplash, confirm that the color and finish are available in both programs before specifying.
Use an installer experienced with large format. Handling, substrate preparation, and setting technique all differ from standard tile work.
